Rank-and-file employees who physically work between 10 PM and 6 AM (Philippine time) receive night differential pay. This applies to Outstaffer EOR (Employer-of-Record) employees in the Philippines.
Night differential is paid only for work actually rendered in that window. Managerial employees are not entitled.
Work must be rendered in the window:
If you are on PTO (paid time off), you do not get night differential for those hours, because no work was rendered.
A shift ending at 9:50 PM earns no night differential, because the window starts at 10 PM.
The rate is applied automatically to your qualifying night hours.
