Why Was My Pay Deducted for Absences or Tardiness?

Deductions for absences, tardiness or undertime reflect your recorded attendance for the pay period, under company attendance policy. Check My Attendance / My Biologs in Sprout and file a COA before cutoff if a punch is missing.

If your pay was reduced for an absence, tardiness or undertime, it reflects the attendance recorded for that pay period, in line with company attendance policy.

Under the "no work, no pay" principle, time not worked and not covered by paid leave is not paid, and late or short hours are deducted proportionally. Your attendance records for the cycle will show what drove the deduction.

Check your attendance:

  1. Open My Attendance and My Biologs in Sprout and review the pay period.

  2. If a day is missing from a missed clock-in or clock-out, file a COA (Certificate of Attendance).

  3. File the COA before the payroll cutoff so the correction lands in the right cycle.

If your records look correct but you still have questions, raise a platform ticket to your HR contact and we will walk you through the computation.
