HR Permissions: For Managing Employees on Your HR Plan
The HR Permissions feature allows you to access sensitive employee data—such as tax details, benefits, and bank account information—when the employee is part of an HR plan, meaning they are employed under your entity, not Outstaffer's.
You can assign HR Permissions when creating or editing a user in the system.
-
Who gets access?
HR Permissions can be assigned to any role—Owner, Hiring, or Finance—but they’re typically reserved for HR team members. This ensures that only authorized users responsible for managing employees on your HR plan can access this sensitive information. -
When is access restricted?
Employees on an EOR (Employer of Record) plan, where Outstaffer is the employer, will not have their sensitive data visible. Since you don’t need this information for daily management of these employees, it remains restricted.
This separation ensures that you have access to sensitive data for employees under your HR plan, while keeping private details of EOR employees secure.
