Outstaffer locks an exchange rate at the start of each employee's engagement so your subscription stays predictable, then uses the actual rate at payroll execution for reconciliation.
Outstaffer locks an exchange rate at the start of each employee's engagement. That locked rate is used for the entire life of their subscription, so your subscription invoices stay predictable — you know exactly what your billing currency amount will be each month.
When we run the actual payroll for your employee, we pay them in their local currency at the actual exchange rate on the day of payroll execution. The reconciliation process captures the difference between the locked rate and the actual rate, so any variance flows through the reconciliation track rather than disrupting your subscription.
The exchange rate used for reconciliation is shown on your monthly Payroll Reconciliation Report.
