Yes, we’re more than happy to accommodate the transfer of your EOR employee to a new entity you own, such as a subsidiary or newly acquired division. The process is straightforward and ensures your employees are moved seamlessly within the platform, while retaining continuity in their service.
When transferring employees, we’ll need to update their employment agreement to reflect the new entity, but rest assured, they will not need to complete a new onboarding process. The process begins by raising a "My Request" ticket, and we’re here to guide you through every step.
How to Transfer Your EOR Employee
1. Raise a "Transfer Employee to Another Entity" Request
- Navigate to the "Requests" section in the left-hand menu.
- Under Customer Success, select "Transfer employee to another entity."
- In the request form, provide the following details:
- Employee name: List the employees you want to transfer.
- New company name: The new entity they will be transferred to (existing or newly created).
- Effective transfer date: Specify the date for the transfer.
- Transfer reason: Select the reason for transfer from the provided list
- Has the employee been notified: Let us know if the employee has been briefed
2. Sign Necessary Legal Documents via GetAccept
- After submitting the request, you’ll receive a set of legal documents via GetAccept to authorize the transfer.
- These documents will cover the legalities of transferring the employee(s) from the current entity to the new entity.
- Once the documents are signed, we will proceed with the transfer process.
3. Complete the New Entity Setup (if applicable)
- If the new entity isn’t set up in the platform yet, we will assist you in creating it. Alternatively, you can use an existing entity that’s already available.
- Ensure all necessary legal and financial documentation is in place for the new entity.
4. Review and Approve the Updated Employment Agreement
- Once the legal documents are signed, we will create and update the employees’ employment agreements to reflect the new entity.
- You’ll receive a notification to review and approve these new agreements in the platform.
5. Employee Data Review
- Employees won’t need to complete a new onboarding process, but they should review their data for accuracy.
- Any necessary updates can be made directly in the platform.
