Overview
The Activity Logs feature provides full audit visibility into employee profile changes, allowing you to track, review, and verify modifications with precision. Gain transparency into who made updates, what changes were applied, and when key actions occurred. This ensures accountability, security, and compliance by maintaining a clear record of activities.
Understanding Activity Logs
-
The logs display all updates related to the employee's profile, including:
-
Who made the update.
-
What action was taken (e.g., update, create, delete).
-
Before and after values of the modified fields.
-
Timestamps for when changes occurred.
-
Steps to Navigate Activity Logs
-
Access Employee Profile: Navigate to "People > Staff" from the sidebar and select the employee whose activity you want to review.
-
Open Activity Logs: Click on the "Activity Logs" tab which will display a chronological list of actions taken on the employee's profile.
Filtering and Searching Logs
To refine your search within the Activity Logs:
- Search by Keyword: Enter a keyword (e.g., "compensation") in the search bar to display all logs related to that term.
- Filter by Object: Objects represent different categories of data (e.g., "costs"). Select an object to view updates related to that specific category.
- Filter by Action: Narrow results by selecting a specific action type such as creation, updates, deletions, and encrypted file views.
By utilising these filters and search options, you can quickly locate relevant activity records and maintain a clear audit trail.
